February 2021

Beginning in Feburary, Fr. Nikolai will be with us to serve Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. on the first and third Saturdays of the month, and an evening service, either Vespers or a service appropriate to the season at 6 p.m. on the Thursday preceding the third Saturday. We will continue to serve Sunday Typica at 10 a.m., with additional week-day readers services for major feasts. The faithful are asked to their print own service orders (or bring an inobtrusive electronic device on which to view the order of service) to minimize contact, and are reminded that face-masks are required while at the Chapel, except when receiving the Holy Mysteries or partaking of the antidoron at the Liturgy. We continue provide service texts for Saturday Vespers so the faithful may serve Vespers at home.

Because the arctic weather damaged the chapel's plumbing, necessitating the shut-off of water to the chapel, Fr. Nikolai will not be serving Vespers on 18 February or Liturgy on 20 February as originally planned. He will be with us for Vespers on 25 February and Liturgy on 27 February instead. It is anticipated that repairs and restoration of water to the chapel will begin Friday 19 Feburary and completed by Wednesday 24 February at the latest. Service texts for the rescheduled services will be posted when available.
